Port Quinn
Port Quinn has a rich and slightly mysterious history. Once a thriving fishing village it was said to have been abandoned after a tragic storm wiped out the male fishing population—though this story may be part folklore.
Today, many of the cottages are owned by the National Trust, and the hamlet remains largely untouched, offering a glimpse into Cornwall’s past.

Bodmin and Launceston Steam Railway
Take a step back in time with a steam train ride through the Cornish countryside. The Bodmin Railway offers classic steam journeys, while Launceston Steam Railway gives a shorter ride with vintage charm, a café, and a small museum—fun for all ages.

The Eden Project is a unique attraction set in a former clay pit, where huge glass domes house a rainforest and Mediterranean gardens. It’s a fun and inspiring place to explore nature, learn about the environment, and enjoy a great day out.
